I started by writing a fringe show which only included a bad pastiche of a bad poem but as I started to take my writing more seriously I realised I had a poetic voice and I love what that brings to how I work now. Really enjoyed this .. thanks for sharing ✨

I totally see what you mean about Heti's writing!

& completely agree with this post, I approach all my writing the same way I approach poetry. The longer narrative just dilutes the richness language.

I wonder if people who started with scripts first, or prose first feel similarly. That no matter what they write, it's always secretly their favoured format.
